The EPB TBM, named Dallas, launched last June has holed through on the 457.20 m (5100-foot) Cedar Creek tunnel. Which is part of the IPL Section 19 Long Tunnel Crossings project (PL19TUN) currently being constructed by the Traylor and Sundt Construction joint venture team in Trinidad, Texas! The team is now working on disassembling and relocating the TBM to the Hollywood Lake site to begin mining the next 1,781.9 m (5,846-foot) tunnel.   

This project, which includes five tunnels, is a crucial piece of the 241.4 km (150-mile) Integrated Pipeline that will allow Tarrant Regional Water District and the City of Dallas Water Utilities to deliver 1.32 bn litres (350 million gallons) per day of raw water to the communities of North Central Texas.
