Kolkata Metro East West corridorThe EUR754.4 million East West corridor of Kolkata Metro Rail Project is a medium capacity system covering approximately 15 km from IT hub Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah. It comprises a 5.7 km-long elevated section and a 9 km underground section, each with six stations. The underground alignment runs from Howrah Maidan to Howrah Station, passing below Hooghly River, Mahakaran Station, Central Station, Sealdah Station, Phool Bagan Station to Subhas Sarovar.
