The Norwegian National Rail Administration has selected the most qualified companies to compete for two of four EPC contracts for the new Follo Line between Oslo and Ski.
There will be a total of four major EPC contracts or turnkey contracts for the Follo Line project: one contract that includes the introduction of the new path to Oslo Central S, two contracts for tunnelling (one for boring with four TBMs and one for drill/blast) and a contract for the open section Langhus–Ski, including the new Ski train station.
Six Joint Ventures will be invited to tender for the EPC TBM contract: Acciona Infraestructuras and Ghella (Spain–Italy), Gulermark-Samsung-Pizzarotti (Turkey–Korea–Italy), Implenia Norge, Hochtief Solution and Dragados (Norway–Germany–Spain), NCC Construction, Vinci Construction Grands Projects and Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau (Norway–France–Germany), Obrascon Hauarte Lain, SK Engineering and Construction (Spain–Korea), Skanska Norge and Strabag (Norway–Austria).
Three joint ventures and three companies will be invited to tender for the EPC D&B contract: JV Implenia Norge, Hochtief Solution and Dragados (Norway–Germany–Spain), JV Skanska Norge and Strabag (Norway–Austria), JV Salini, Impregilo and CSC Impresa Costruzioni (Italy–Italy–Switzerland), AF gruppen Norge (Norway), Obrascon Huarte Lain (Spain), Societa italiana per condotte d’acqua (Italy).
