On 02.02.2011 Metro 5 SpA, the concessionaire led by Astaldi, and including Ansaldo STS, Ansaldo Breda, Azienda Trasporti Municipalizzata (ATM) of Milan and Alstom signed its contract with the city of Milan for the extension Garibaldi station - San Siro Stadium (7 km with 10 new stations) of driverless automatic Line 5 of the metro, for a total value of EUR872 million.
