The group led by Vinci Construction and Bouygues, made a cheaper offer (EUR125.5 million) compared to its main competitor Spanish construction group OHL allied with Egypt's ECTTP. The JV led by VINCI Construction Grands Projets alongside Bouygues Travaux Publics, a Bouygues Construction subsidiary, and their Egyptian partners, Orascom Construction and Arab Contractors secured the EUR264 million contract to build the extension of Line 3 of Cairo metro system between Haroun and El Nozha stations.
