Turin/Lyon - Before the end of the Summer 2018 the tenders for the French section of the base tunnel TELT will be released. The bi-national co-operation program agreed by the two European Union States, are working to publish completely the 5.5 billion Euro of bids for the construction of the cross-border section of the Turin-Lyon by 2019. The technical-juridical evaluations are being completed in view of the publication of the tenders in the Official Journal of the EU. The tender for excavation of the base tunnel on the French side, worth EUR2 billion is expected to be confirmed by September.
