After relaunching, TBM Grace has now successfully tunnelled through the station box d-wall (western end). After spending five weeks at Redcliffe Station, where she underwent scheduled maintenance and had her screw conveyor replaced, TBM Grace is now on her way to Bayswater Junction.

This last leg of her tunnelling journey is 2.6km long and she will be installing more than 1600 rings and going under the Swan River before resurfacing on the other side. TBM Sandy is located less than 200m from the Redcliffe Station wall, underneath Brearley Avenue, and is expected to break through in late-June.
