Breakthrough on Metro Line 1 in Milan

The 22^nd of January 2019 saw the breakthrough of the tunnel for the future Sesto Restellone and Monza Bettola stops on the Metro Line 1 in Milan, Italy.

The Sesto Restellone station construction is already well under way. The station for the M1 will also have an interchange with line 5, whose extension towards Cinisello Balsamo, Sesto San Giovanni and Monza has recently been financed.
