Nuttall, Murphy, Amec and Morgan Est have been given an extension by Thames Water to bid for a £20 million deal to build a new tunnel under the M40 in Buckinghamshire to serve the Little Marlow Sewage Treatment Works. The tunnel sewer will be nearly 3 metres in diameter and up to 90 metres below the ground. Also included is a circular shaft, about 7.5 metres in diameter and 8 metres deep. Excavation in chalk.
