The JV KER 450 from Lugano, composed of Pizzarotti SA (Bellinzona), Jaeger Bau GmbH (Schruns), Heitkamp Construction Swiss GmbH (Dierikon) and STRABAG AG (Niederurnen) secured the EUR101.54 million contract (CHF107.10 million), excluding VAT, for construction of the 5.5 km safety tunnel of the 5.7 km-long Kerenzerberg tunnel on the N03/70 (Lot1), also construction of ventilation ducts, bypasses and ventilation centrals.
