Necso and Sacyr secured a EUR128.9 million contract from the Ministry of environment to design and build the Mularroya dam. The project mainly consists of a dam, with a capacity of 103 cubic hectometres to store water from the Jalon river, and a 12,816 m transfer tunnel from the Jalon to the Grio river. The time frame for construction alone is 90 months, not to mention the time necessary for design and filling of the dam after completion. Entry in service not before 2015.
