The Norwegian Public Roads Administration have awarded to the Joint Venture Implenia (80%) and
Stangeland Maskin (20%) the second of three large Rogfast contracts, called E03 Boknafjord tunnel South. The EUR 372.25 million (NOK4 bn) contract is linked to the construction of the southern part of the E39 Rogfast project, a 26.7 km long underwater tunnel between the municipalities Randaberg in the south and Bokn in the north.
The Joint Venture Implenia/Stangeland Maskin will build the 18.5km southern part of the two-lane subsea Boknafjord tunnel from Bokn in the north and halfway towards Kvitsøy.
