VTT Maritime AS of Bergen, an affiliate of Continental Energy Corporation, has been awarded a contract valued at EUR7.6 million by the Norwegian Road Authority for a portion of NorRoad's planned highway E39 improvement project. VTT will provide sea mapping, seismic surveying and measurement wire drilling at the site of a major subsea tunnel location. VTT Maritime AS will drill three holes of about 1,000 m in the deepest point of the planned tunnel route from Kvitsoy.
