Skanska Hålogalandsvegen, led by Skanska Norge AS, secured the EUR1.02bn (NOK11.4 bn) contract for design and construction of the E10/RV85 Tjeldsund-Gullesfjordbotn-Langvassbukt (Halogaland Road/Halogalandsvegen) project in northern Norway procured by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA). A total of 82 km of new road will be built, including 27 km through a total of 7 tunnels. Of the remaining, 35 km will be built in the current road line, while 20 km will be laid in a new road line.
