Implenia AG secured the NOK 1.2 billion (EUR118.50 million) contract for tunnel and foundation works from Lysaker to Fornebu on the Fornebu Railway/Fornebubanen (Lot K2A). The contract consists of planning and building a tunnel, including transverse sections, on a stretch of approximately 2.3 km. In addition, construction pits and rock shafts will be established for Flytårnet station and Fornebuporten station. The contract signing will take place after a ten-day appeal period. The project start is planned in May 2021. Completion of the whole Fornebubanen project is scheduled for 2027, while the tunnel construction Lysaker – Fornebu is planned to be completed by autumn 2023.
