The three shortlisted candidates for the dualling of the railway between Genoa and Ventimiglia, section San Lorenzo al Mare-Andora, are Toto Costruzioni / Coopcostruttori (lowest bidder with a 7.77% discount); Ferrovial-Agromí¡n / Cossi Costruzioni (4.71% discount); and Astaldi (2.79% discount). Nine single-tube double-track tunnels, finished cross section 80 sq m, will be built: Poggi (2,080 m), Terra Bianca (466), Caramagneta (197), Bardellini (2,920), Gorleri (3,093), Castello (485), Caighei (2,618), San Simone (133) and Colle Cervo (3,115).
