Veidekke Entreprenor from Oslo secured the EUR192.29 million (NOK1.96bn)
contract, excluding VAT, for the construction of a 5 900 m long rock
tunnel and connection to the existing railway line in an open stretch at
Skoger (Contract UDK 01). This is part of the new double-track section from
Drammen to Kobbervikdalen for the ongoing modernization of the Vestfold
Line. The construction method used for the tunnel will be drill and blast. Contact
