Open call for bids, deadline 25th May, 2004 for construction of a 1,215 m single-tube 14 m-diameter tunnel on the Faver bypass to road SS 612 in Val di Cembra. Drill/blast method. Support with shotcrete, 5 m-long Super Swellex bolts, lattice girders or steel arches every metre. 50 cm-thick reinforced concrete layer as final lining. The project mostly runs underground, in a 1,215 m-long 9.8 m-wide two-lane tunnel featuring a minimum headroom of 4.75 m. The bored length is 1,190.84 m, the remaining length being cut-and-cover portals. Drill/blast method with shotcrete, 5 m-long Super Swellex bolts, lattice girders or steel arches every metre for support and 50 cm-thick reinforced concrete layer for final lining.
