The ΑVAX SA – Ghella SpA– Alstom Transport SA consortium, led by AVAX, has been declared provisional lowest bidder for the construction of the first phase of Line 4 of the Athens Metro, more specifically the Alsos Veikou – Goudi section, offering a discount of 12.19%. The project, budgeted at EUR1.8 billion, is the largest infrastructure project currently planned in the European Union and will radically change commuting in the Athens metropolitan area.
