The U5 Europaviertel consortium, comprising PORR Deutschland GmbH and Stump Spezialtiefbau GmbH, secured the EUR120 million contract to build the Platz der Republik – Europaviertel 1,16m long underground section of the U5 Frankfurt s/Main rail line. The contract will includes the connection to the existing route the Platz der Republik and the new Güterplatz station.
