The Societe du Grand Paris has awarded the first civil
engineering contract to the consortium led by Eiffage Genie Civil and composed
of Razel Bec, Eiffage Rail, Tso e Tso Catenaries. The value of the contract is EUR1.84 billion, excluding VAT, for lines 14
North, 16 and 17 South of Grand Paris Express.`The contract includes the common
section of lines 16 and 17, between the Saint-Denis Pleyel and Le Bourget RER
stations (included), and its connection to the future Operative Center for
lines 16 and 17 at Aulnay-sous-Bois, by the line 16 and Le Blanc-Mesnil train
station (included). The contract also includes the extension of line 14 between
the station Mairie de Saint-Ouen (excluded) and the station Saint-Denis Pleyel,
as well as the crossing of this last station by the line 15 North. The contract
includes the construction of the Saint-Denis Pleyel, La Courneuve
Six-Route", Le Bourget RER and Le Blanc-Mesnil stations. For the digging
of the 4 tunnels (19.3km) 6 TBMs will be used. The commissioning of these
sections is scheduled for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
