The JV Bessac from Fenouille/ Chantiers modernes construction from Chevilly-Larue/ Soletanche Bachy France from Rueil Malmaison secured the EUR24.15 million contract, excluding VAT, for improving passenger safety in the 3,350 m long Meudon rail tunnel on Line 977000 Invalides to Versailles Rive Gauche. The contract includes using a TBM for the 1.6km and 3.5 diameter safety tunnel with 2 bypasses at 30-m long, linking the safety tunnel with the railway tunnel.
