Breakthrough reported on the 4.5 km Buenavista tunnel, 7.34 m-wide carriageway, between Bogota and Villavicencio. Cost is Ps172 billion. Italian jv Recchi-Grandi Lavori Fincosit started tunnelling in October and November, 1995 before ConConcreto took over the job in March, 1998. 50/01.
