The JV Strabag (51 percent)/Salini Impregilo (49 percent) secured the main section Tulfes Pfons of the Brenner Base Tunnel. The project is worth approximately EUR380 million. The Tulfes Pfons section comprises civil works for a total of 38 km of tunnels, including an underground section of the exploratory tunnel, the rescue tunnel for the Innsbruck bypass and two interconnecting tunnels. Work will start in the second half of 2014, duration 55 months.
