Waterview near completion

The Tunnel boring machine Alice is only 332 m away from her second breakthrough for the Waterview Connection in Auckland, New Zealand. The second tunnel which is 2.4 kilometers long is also almost finished. The TBM once it has done its work will be dismantled and returned by ship to the manufacturer in Germany.
