Waterview TBM resumes

In New Zealand, the huge Waterview TBM has been successfully turned and on 17.12.2014 resumed tunnelling, heading south on the second of the motorway tunnels. The machine will advance far enough to allow the backup to be reconnected. It will then resume full tunnelling on the 2.4 km-long drive which should take around six months to complete.
