Walking to Billy Bishop airport

Construction of the Port Authority pedestrian tunnel to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport commenced this month. The 243.84 m-long link will open in 2014, cutting out the 15 minutes ferry ride to the island airport for up to 1.6 million passengers/year. The EUR62 million job is being carried out by Forum Infrastructure Partners, a consortium of Forum Equity Partners Inc., PCL, Arup, Trow, Technicore Underground and ZAS Architects.
