TBM Ursula has completed its 7.6km underground journey from Battersea to Bermondsey for the Thames Tideway Tunnel in London. The contractor for this project is the JV consisting of Costain Group PLC, Vinci Construction Grands Projets and  Bachy Soletanche.  

Six TBMs have been building the 25km Super Sewer under the River Thames to prevent millions of tonnes of sewage overflow.

TBM Rachel - Completed her journey from Fulham to Acton 

TBM Millicent - Completed her journey from Battersea to Fulham 

TBM Ursula - Completed her journey from Battersea to Bermondsey 

TBM Selina - Currently still tunnelling toward Abbey Mills Pumping Station from Bermondsey   

Connection Tunnels: 

TBM Charlotte - Completed the connection tunnel in Wandsworth 

TBM Annie - Currently tunnelling toward Bermondsey from Greenwich Pumping
