The BTS dinner was held at The Brewery in London, and this year was its 30th anniversary as it began in 1989. The annual dinner is a popular event within the tunnelling industry. This year the evening began with a drinks reception sponsored by tideway, giving guests the chance to network with industry professionals and old friends from around the world, the evening ended with a treat for BTS guests, a well-known speaker Henry Blofeld (Blowers). Blowers is a retired sports journalist who shared some great stories from his career with all who were in attendance.

Tunnelbuilder CEO Sam Heard was in attendance and commented on how great the evening, venue and food was, saying it was also great to catch up with friends and clients.
