Terratec, after a successful test on 06.12.2014, has delivered a new Double Shield TBM to Seli Overseas S.p.A. of Italy, the tunnelling subcontractor for the Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy Hydropower Project, located in southern Laos on the Bolaven Plateau. Main contractor for the project is SK Engineering & Construction Co Ltd of Korea. The Project is comprised of the construction of two central cored rock fill dams, waterway tunnels with a vertical shaft, and a 410 MW powerhouse.
