On the 11^th of March 2019 the board of TELT, the Italian-French company building the tunnel for the Turin-Lyon high-speed rail link, approved the call for tenders for the tunnel, on the French side. The estimated value of the tenders is EUR2.3 billion.

The invitations to tender will contain the explicit right to stop the procedure at any stage without obligations. TELT also confirms its commitment to verify what the two Governments want at the end of the selection. This will be done before sending out the tender documents to the qualified companies.
