The Swiss Tunnelling Society (STS) is hosting the annual Swiss Tunnel Congress (STC) in the Lucerne Culture and Congress Center (KKL) between the 04-06 June 2019.

The STC 2019 is organised by the Swiss Tunnel Congress department of the Swiss Tunnelling Society.

The title of this year's Swiss Tunnel Ccongress this afternoon is "Material technology innovations in tunnel construction". In contrast to digitisation, this topic has not received much attention in recent years. Ideas can only become successful innovations if they are implemented into new products, services or processes which can then be used successfully in the marketplace. This year STC will explore the development of building materials, and their relation to innovation.
