So far as part of the Swinoujscie tunnel construction project the TBM Wyspiarka has tunnelled 563 m, and has installed 170, 1.5-meter rings and 154 two-meter rings.

Each ring consists of 8 segments  manufactured in a prefabrication plant. The rings are thens then transported to the launch shaft and finally to the TBM machine, which assembles them  for the tunnel lining.  The STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) separates the excavated material from the drilling fluid. The muck is transported to the storage site at ul. Karsiborska, and the cleaned fluid is then re-used to continue boring the tunnel. 

Earthworks and construction works are in progress on the section from segment R1 to R16. Road works as well as reconstruction and construction of utilities for the network and road infrastructure are also underway on Wolin Island.
