The Fomento approved the public information document, the technical document of the project and the Environmental Impact Study for the northern bypass of Puertollano (Ciudad Real Province). The new 11,3 km route, through the municipalities of Argamasilla de Calatrava, Puertollano and Almodóvar del Campo, will be part of the future highway A 43 Extremadura - Valencia, and it will include a 1.7km twin tube tunnel from La Nava to Retamar, under the Sierra Decarada de la Santa. Initial investment will be EUR100.93 millions, including 21% VAT. The bypass will connect the A41 with the the N420.
