Silvertown tunnel update

Riverlinx’s TBM Jill has now bored more than 210m and installed 102 rings and now it has started tunnelling under the river Thames towards North Greenwich! Once the TBM reaches the Greenwich site, it will be turned in the rotation chamber before returning to the Newham site and completing the tunnelling for the 1.4km twin-bore tunnel.
