The planning approval documents for the construction of the eastern section (PFA 3 East) between the western bank of the Isar and Leuchtenbergring  station, from km 107.853 to km 110.711, of the Second Main Line at Munich are now available to the public.   

The DB Netz AG had recently adjusted the plans for the PFA 3 East route section and achieved numerous improvements for the residents and passengers. The major change is the new location of the deep planned S-Bahn's Ostbahnhof station in Friedenstrasse – which has  the optimum connection to the Werksviertel and to regional and long-distance transport as well as underground, bus and tram.   

The approval documents are available to the public until 10/11/2021: click here. The public display is part of the official plan approval procedure. In addition, the project team will provide information on 19/10/2021 at 6 p.m. at a virtual information event which will outline the process and opportunities to participate in the plan approval procedure.
