A 6.2 m-diameter Robbins hard rock cutterhead has been unveiled in Indianapolis, IN, USA at a ceremony that included the city’s mayor and local officials to mark the assembly progress of the main beam TBM.  Launching from a 76 m-deep shaft in early 2013, the machine will embark on a 12.2 km-long wastewater tunnel towards the Belmont Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Shea/Kiewit JV. Read the press release and visit www.robbinstbm.com. 51/12.
