Progress at Hallandsas rail tunnelSeventeen years since the first abortive start on the 8.6 km-long Hallandsas rail tunnel the first tube between Forslov in the south and Bastad in the north finally broke through on 25.08.2010. The 3,200 t TBM Asa is being disassembled and taken back to its start point at the southern tunnel entrance ready for the west tube.
