Penetron Italia, which was a Silver Sponsor at the recent
world tunnelling congress in Naples is now, an industrial partner of the
European project ReSHEALience. ReSHEALience
is coordinated by Politecnico di Milano and funded by the European Commission, as
part of the H2020 framework.
The project, started in January 2018 with a
EUR5.56 million budget, will be developed within 48 months. What the project has
done is to gather 14 partners including 6 academic and research institutions
together with 8 industrial partners from 8 different countries (Italy, Spain,
Estonia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel and Malta)
The projects main goal is to develop an Ultra High
Durability Concrete (UHDC) and a Durability Assessment-based Design (DAD)
methodology for structures, to improve durability and predict their long-term
