Palude excavation holes with difficultyOn 18.05.2011 CMC (Ravenna) broke through the south bore of the 1,166 m Palude tunnel, Maxi lot 1 of the Quadrilatero-Marche-Umbria. Several difficulties were experienced during excavation due to poor geology. CMC is part of the JV Val di Chienti awarded for design and construction of this section.
