The World Tunnelling Congress 2019 will be held in Naples, Italy from 3rd to 9th of May 2019. A major event for the engineering and geotechnical sectors linked to tunnelling, promoted by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES) and Società Italiana Gallerie (SIG).

This year (2018) the congress took place in Dubai where a number of Italian representatives will be presenting the main topics introduced in the Naples edition. This will include the events’ programme for the 7 days congress, based in the exhibition fair centre Mostra d’Oltremare.

The submission of abstracts and having the chance to be selected as a speaker for the WTC in Naples is already open and will close on May the 15th of 2018. The submissions will be evaluated by dedicated experts from the scientific committee. The selection of both abstracts and speakers will be announced on 20^th of June 2018.
