New section of Torino metro Line1 opensConstruction of six new stations on the new 3.7 km underground section of the metro Line 1 was completed mid-January, 2011. These are at Marconi, Nizza, Dante, Carducci-Molinette, Spezia e Lingotto along the line, which connects Porta Nuova with the Lingotto Exposition centre.
