CEAR have finally completed the certification for their 7.2kV Ex-e MV Junction box in accordance with the Directive ATEX 2014/34/EU. This Ex-e Junction Box  is also in compliance with International standards for Zone 1 in mining and Zone 2 for industrial application where there is presence of Gas or Dust.

For CEAR this is the first octagonal standardized Junction Box with an auxiliary box that can be used for extra connections, such as connecting fibreoptic or auxiliary contacts.
