New Civil Engineer’s hugely popular Tunnelling Awards
returned for their eighth year today. Showcasing the very best in tunnelling
expertise the Tunnelling Awards are now firmly established in London as a
premier networking event for the global tunnelling community. This year the
event has been held at Grosvenor House.

Microtunnelling Shore Crossing Tunnelling Project award of the year (up to $150
million)

The Kaneohe/Kailua Sewer Tunnel project for the
Tunnelling Project of the year (Over $150 million)
·
Elan Valley Aqueduct (EVA) Rehabilitation
Project for Specialist tunnelling project of the year

Outstanding Contribution to a Project award goes
to @OnlineSouthland for their work on Jollyville Transmission Main Tunnel

The young tunneller of the year is Morgan Oleron
from Bouygues Travaux Publics.

goes to Dr Sauer and Partners, Dragados and London Underground
