This week construction of the left and second tunnel began, A route that will go from Lianozovo to Phystech station for the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line or light green line in Moscow. The Herrenknecht S-771 TBM named Irina will build 2.3 km of the tunnel, passing between the Mark and Lianozovo platforms of the Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-1), bypassing the residential area on Pskovskaya Street and crossing the Moscow Ring Road, and further along the street.
TBM Irina was involved in the construction of the Sokolnicheskaya line (from Troparevo to Rumyantsevo ) and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya (from Michurinsky prospect to Ozernaya ) metro lines.
TBM Tatiana
TBM Tatiana was launched at the beginning of November from the Lianozovo station tunnelling towards the Phystech station. The TBM is driving the 2345 m right parallel tunnel and has so far tunnelled 20m. Both the machines will have to drive at a depth of 20 to 35 m.
The construction of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line section is being carried out in several stages. The first one, from the Seligerskaya station to the Phystech/Fiztech station, was started in 2019. The 6.9 km section will run along the Dmitrovskoe highway to the intersection with MCD-1 and it will include three stations Ulitsa 800-letiya Moskvy - at the intersection of Dmitrovskoye Highway and 800-Letiya Moskvy Street, Lianozovo - at the intersection of Dmitrovskoye Shosse and MCD-1, Phystech/Fiztech - north of Akademik Landau Boulevard. Then the line will be extended to the Severny area.
The new line will improve transport links with the areas of Dmitrovsky, Vostochnoye Degunino, Lianozovo and northern residents will save up to 20 minutes a day on their journeys.
A transport interchange hub will be created at the Lianozovo station, and passengers will be able to transfer to other routes. The future Phystech/Fiztech terminal station of the light green line is one of the few located outside the Moscow Ring Road and it’s planned to be opened in 2022.
