Milestones for Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project

The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project at Toronto has hit two major milestones - Rexy, one of the TBMs has completed 6 kms of tunnelling so far. The other TBM, Renny, has completed just over 5.3 km.

The extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2km further west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto through the heart of the city and into Mississauga.
