On 07/09/2022 TBM Kahina broke through into an extraction shaft: click here for the video. This goal successfully concludes the first tunnel Oued Smar –Airport section, 5808 m long, of the Metro Alger line 1 project, including 5 stations and a shaft. The intermediate phase will now begin for complete disassembly and reassembly of the TBM.
