There's a new arrival on Line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express, after Camille in July and Aby last month, TBM Laurence has now completed its drive!  

On 11/09/2021 TBM Laurence – which began its journey from the Ile-de-Monsieur shaft in Sèvres, has now after 4.2 km excavation and passing through two stations and three service structures, broken through at the Fort d’Issy -Vanves - Clamart station. The machine - 1,700 t in weight, 9.87 m in diameter and 109 m long - has passed twice underneath the Seine and extracted nearly 323,400 m3 of muck.  

Three other TBMs will soon complete their routes for Line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express, gradually revealing the 33 km tunnel between the Île-de-Monsieur (Sèvres) shaft and the Noisy - Champs station. For further information please click here and fr/127 for the tunnelbuilder archive.
