Italian breakthroughsOn 24.10.2011 breakthrough was achieved on the north tube of the Collemaggio tunnel, located between km9.244 and km10.036 on the SS318. Two days later, another tunnel holed out when the north tube of the 1,717 m-long Bavareto tunnel on the SS77 Val di Chienti saw daylight.
