Indian tunnels progress

The Border Roads Organization (BRO) reported the construction of the 8.8 km-long Rohtang tunnel in the State of Himachal Pradesh, India is underway, with 4.4 km completed to date.

Meantime, feasibility studies of the 14 km-long Zojila tunnel and 6.5 km-long Z-Morh tunnel in Jammu & Kashmir are complete and construction is likely to commence next year. Visit http://pib.nic.in. 39/14.
